Following the success of our first 'Comedy in the Attic' in November we are returning to one of our favourite Breweries in our very favourite suburb of Birmingham, to run a second comedy night on THURS 6th FEB, this time featuring the fabulous Jo Enright.
For more than a decade Jo Enright has worked with many of the UK’s leading comedy writers and directors. Appearing alongside Peter Kay in Phoenix Nights, with Steve Coogan in I’m Alan Partridge and playing the female lead Sue, in Life’s Too Short, directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Jo received rave reviews for the part of Angela in three series of ITV’s The Job Lot.
Alongside acting Jo is also a highly acclaimed stand up comedienne. Jo has appeared on many TV shows and toured all over the world performing her stand up. Her comedy awards include the 2002 Chortle Award for ‘The Best Female Circuit Comic’ and the 2001 ‘Best Female on the Jongleurs Comedy Circuit’ award.
In addition to her national reputation.... she is one of us; born and living just along the trainline from Bournville in Erdington.
If you love Character Comedy, Birmingham, Good Beer, are Irish or love events in Stirchley... you should most definitely come!
I have also heard your request (and rumbling tummies) so this month we will be joined by one of our favourite, local street food pop ups - Full of Chaat (Hurray!... My taste buds are already salivating at the thought!!)
And all for the advanced bargain price of £5 (plus booking fee) On the door tickets at £7.
Bar opens at 6pm. Show starts at 8pm.
Hope you can join us.
